Anyone got a stat on the percentage of times Dyson scores when he gets on base?
|
Wil Myers continues to slump in AAA. Down to .252/.349/.392 in 143 ABs. Four HRs, 50 Ks.

Rany linked to this in his latest blog post. I remember it, but didn't know it was on YouTube. For those not old enough to remember, watching Willie Wilson hit triples and inside-the-park home runs was one of the most exciting things I've seen:

That's why I had irrational exuberance when Dyson first came up. I know I'm not supposed to like players like that because they usually are overrated offensively -- they don't walk, they don't hit with power, make too many outs, etc. -- but Dyson reminded me a lot of Wilson, and he was just so fun to watch.

That's an insanely high rate and will come down, but he also has 5 2B and 2 3B. When he puts HIMSELF in scoring position, Dyson is just hard to keep away from home plate, because he's scoring on ANY base hit other than an IF single or a rocket right at a guy with a strong arm. |

Love me some Willie Wilson. He's great on Twitter too, if anyone here uses it. He actually interacts, and follows back. Looks like his demons are behind him and he's enjoying life.
