This would be the 15th 1 seed in the last 30 years (counting the 2020 season). Would be something like 4-5 statistically if there was a 4 team format like in football.

They should definitely be above Arizona. Much better resume and metrics aren't that much different.

Gonzaga's metrics are so far above any other team that they'll probably get the overall #1 nod.

I think Arizona is the best team in the country. I respect the Pac 12 after what they did in the tournament last year. I'm likely going to pick Arizona to win the Natty unless they have just a gauntlet region.

Oh, I can't even explain how warm and fuzzy that would make me feel.

We took care of our business this weekend. Many teams didn't. Gonzaga has always been treated differently by the committee. They will be above us. It is what it is.

Late in the season, I didn't think we had enough this year to get to the final four and or win it all. No way way Self would start Remy over Harris. But, with Remy able to come in if Brawn/Wilson/Harris are off in a game, Remy can come in and fill that gap in the game.

I think the real question is who is the 16 seed we get and why are they the best 16 seed ever?

They got 9/14 in. Big 12 got 6/9 in. Good conference but a lot of teams to draw from. Certainly better than the sec put up

KU has a FANTASTIC region. Many overseeded teams based on predictive metrics. Iowa is kind of scary offensively but Kansas matches up with them very well. No Kentucky as their #2, No Houston, No Tenn or UCLA.

Wisconsin is our #3 and is #34 in Kenpom.

I know we're gonna get boat raced, but I'm paying for the experience.

Honestly a pretty good draw for KU other than the potential R32 matchup against SDSU. They are one of the best defensive teams in the country, are very physical, and are definitely underseeded at 8.
