He's back: QB Jay Cutler is coming back. Sources say he's agreed to sign with the #Dolphins. |
Thank God I'm not a Miami Dolphin fan.

We have discussed this. |
Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
The #Dolphins are signing QB Jay Cutler to a 1-year contract worth $10M, source said. There are incentives in there, too. |
That sucks.

Solid move for the Dolphins. They aren't winning anything this year, with the options available to them, anyways.
FO appears to have tried, and they haven't committed anything that will give them difficulty when Tannehill returns. |

It would sure be nice if he came back as the old Justin Houston. |

I've watched a ton of Bears games and do every year because a ton of my friends/family are Bears fans and that guy has been running for his life a quarter-second after the snap terribly since 2010. And last year, I saw some of the worst displays of WR droppage with him and Barkley...Cutler has had to deal with some understandable frustration with that Bears team these past few years. Either running for his life, having perfect strikes dropped or both. When I've watched Miami, they never seemed to have these issues...not to the extent of the Bears anyways. The Dolphins season will be interesting this year. |

With NE in their division, they don't have the luxury to spend game time getting Cutler up to speed. |

It could make an interesting race for a wildcard if he catches on sooner, rather than later. |

I'm not sure how he will do with the playbook...always heard that his brain was one of his strengths coming out of Vanderbilt.

Cutler's used to playing in cold weather games late in the season so the Christmas Eve game with the Dolphins at Arrowhead may have just become a little more interesting.
Or not. |

Might be a significant Christmas Eve game. |

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet #Chiefs worked out DL Connor Wujciak, formerly of the #Eagles, today, source said. Sounds like it went well. Was in minicamp in Detroit |

Training camp question- How have Damien Mama and Allen Bailey looked?
|
Pete Sweeney @pgsween
Eric Murray is also getting a first-team look I'm happy for Eric Murray getting opportunity with the first he was pretty cool at camp when I met him. Also doing good at camp. Got his autograph and a picture with my son. Cool dude. I officially adopt a Chief Eric Murray |

Sounds like Pat had some 'wow' throws and a couple of bad decisions. Give him some time to better understand and anticipate zone defenses and we are in business.

Nagy isn't setting expectations very high for Mahomes Friday.

The conspiracy theorist in me has me thinking Tamba isn't out there because he's in the doghouse, not because of an injury.
|
Quote:
I wonder if they're waiting for another team to have an injury and trade him |
Quote:
|
People say Pat holds the ball too long. Bad because he's more prone to sacks but good is that it allows his receivers to get deep downfield
|
Quote:
|
Quote:
When a player is recovering from injury they're generally at least out on the field. Kelce, Jones, Ehinger....they've all been out there working. Has Tamba taken the field at all? Maybe i missed it. |
Quote:
That's what we are hoping for with Mahomes. |
Quote:
This is just weird though. |
They did this last year with Tamba, so I wouldn't assume anything
|
Quote:
If you're referring to TC, well....some of these snaps Mahomes is is getting 5-6 seconds to throw the ball, which obviously is unrealistic. |
Quote:
Tamba hasn't made it to the tent though, right? This guy was out there working with the team in OTA's, declared himself healthy, and then all of a sudden *poof* he's unable to take the field. |
Quote:
|
Quote:
It's just odd. Things don't add up here. Good enough to go during OTA's, declares himself ready to go, and then all of sudden he's not healthy enough to even work in the tents for the first two weeks of camp after a vicious tweet storm? |
Mahomes not having his best day today
