Give Mahomes above average coaching and personnel and he will have the offense top 3 every year in his prime.

Elite pass rushes have always made great QB’s look bad. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning had the best statistical offenses ever averaging over 35 PPG and both times they got the shit beat out of them in a SB scoring only 14 and 9 points.

It’s pretty simple. Mahomes has won 3 SB’s with decent level tackles. He’s gotten his ass kicked with the the worst LT’s in the league in both SB losses.

This isn’t hard. He only needs decent tackles. He doesn’t need Willie Roaf

Based on what we know now it was a bad decision.
