Then he'll probably miss 6 games with an injury, but that's another story...

He's going to do great things for the Chiefs this year. Everybody has a shitty game now and then, especially if they basically came off the couch into live game action.

Claynus already endorsed him. He might as well have an old gypsy curse on him.

I liked the approach KT took in the presser today. He took responsibility, addressed the social media posts, stayed focused.

Him trolling people that troll him shows how he feels about it. If you can't take it, don't give it.

He had a bad game, I yelled at the TV because of him... but that was last week.

Interesting that Coach Reid put Toney in front of the media today. Hopefully the kid is able to bounce back in a very positive way. He's talented, just gotta be focused and execute the basics on the field.

It gets lost that he gets open and creates a ton of space. Injuries were the red flag, not hands. Let's hope it was a fluke. And if it was, and he stays on the field, I want to see us use him in plenty of traditional WR ways. Don't just pigeon hole him into a gadget role.

That's a lot of variables though...

Just watched the presser that's been posted around here. He sounds fine. I was a little concerned about his emotional state, but it sounds like he's going to be okay.

Somewhere in the middle of it, he said something about "not trying to be Superman." I think that's probably what happened to him. he tried to be faster, to be even more electric than normal, and in his haste, he probably took shortcuts, like taking his eyes off the ball just before it got to him, so he could get to running, before he'd secured the ball. Simple stuff that a lot of young WRs mess up at first.

He should bounce back this weekend. Looking forward to seeing him on the field, erasing last Thursday's performance.

Just please stay off sm for awhile, KT.

Dude stood up there and took the arrows.

I like the guy. Sure, the injuries and such, but **** man, you stand up there like that and take the shit on your shoulders, you're good in my book. Mentally, that's what you wanna see from a guy.

We all know press conference ≠ real life.

That being said, I agree. Dude was ****ing shell shocked after the pick. He was all up in his own head. The fact that he can stand up there and eat the shit sandwich IMO is a good sign.

Until that game, I thought his hands were actually a strength. Seemed like he caught everything last year, including skying for some tough grabs.

I don’t think he’s ever really had issues with drops, college or pro.

I believe as long as Kelce is back, Toney is doing some kickass this weekend also.

VAGOMO 4 LIFE! 09-14-2023 09:12 AM

Toney apparently spent 30 mins after practice catching balls

Kiimo 09-14-2023 09:13 AM

Everyone who told KT to **** himself should be called out for cheering for him when he rebounds from this.

Hopefully last Thursday was a wake-up call for everyone.

I know you're the defending champs, but you still have to go out there and give it 100%
