I stated that their culture prior to Dorsey is a losing culture, and had been for far longer than the Chiefs. The point is that the fans in those tweets clearly don't understand what it takes to have a winning franchise, similar in many ways to some Chiefs fans. If they can't accept a talent like Hunt on a sweetheart deal, then they are in fact too stupid to appreciate what has been tossed in their lap, and should probably pull their "factory of sadness" T-shirts out of the closet, and wear them loud and proud.

This isn't war, this isn't life or death either, it's a professional game. And the purpose of a professional game is to win, NOT impart life-lessons to players, fans, or their little kids either. **** that shit. Learn that shit from Mom and Dad like you're supposed to because Kareem Hunt didn't go to college to become a ****ing Kindergarten teacher.

By that blanket standard, if Tyreek Hill abused his pregnant wife again, we should welcome him back with open arms because he's a talented WR. We should celebrate the Patriots and their ingenuity in cheating. We should applaud the McGwires and Sosas of the baseball world who gave us the steroid era because they too understood that winning is the only thing that matters.

Again, the purpose of the professional game is to WIN. There is no other purpose. And if the reports coming out of Kentucky this morning are true, I'm glad my head coach, owner, GM, and D-coord realize this as well. That's a nice bit of "un-Chiefs" nasty hardball down there, and I'll take it!

If the "nice Chiefs" era is over, and I believe it truly is, then thank God for it. It was LONG overdue.

Sure, you don't win Superbowls out of PC and general consensus, but that's an altogether different matter, and one that don't seem so high on the priority list of whoever decided to "donate" the top running back of the league to some other team.

I'm not questioning Mahomes being a generational talent, but matter of fact his stats have changed quite a bit since Hunt is gone.
Williams is a good running back, but not one you need to plan and double against.
That's why he made good numbers, and something that should be remembered every time we will see linebackers blitzing with DB playing man to man next year, same as the pats did on the AFCCG, because there was no Hunt to look out for.
We all know next year stats for Mahomes won't be the same as this year, and we will basically have a one-dimensional offense, with an average running back who can run for a fair gain here and there thrown in for good measure.
Given our offensive line, a RB who can make yards after contact (which Williams is not) is worth his weight in gold.

This stupid decision to release Hunt is one that will come back to bite us when it hurts the most, same as it did in the AFCCG this year.
Hope (and think) the "new" defense can make up for that, nonetheless letting Hunt go is something we will regret for a long time.


In football, the value of "said business" is STRICTLY AND DIRECTLY related to the number of Superbowls you win.
And yes, in order to win multiple Superbowls you certainly have to be "desperate" about it. This hardly comes as a "byproduct" of management aimed at general consensus.
Another on the $$$ post here. The Patriots as a franchise are second in value on the to the Dallas Cowboys. That's according to Forbes. The bottom five???? Bucs, Browns, Bungles, Lions, and Bills. Five teams that have 1 Superbowl win in between them. Clark made a decision that his image and his franchise image was more important than winning. So he discarded KH for nothing and Dorsey picked up the fumble. The Steelers still haven't L. Bell. In fact it sounds like they are going to tag him again in efforts get some compensation. Why let an All-Pro running back walk for nothing??? But silver-spoon Clark Hunt??? He didn't build the franchise, is not a football guy, and is more concerned about running a "respectable business" than winning. The shame is that there is a large group of Chiefs fans that are ok with that:(.

It's pretty freaking simple:

HE WASN'T PLAYING AGAIN IN 2018. PERIOD.

He wouldn't have been able to play against the Patriots. He's on the EXEMPT LIST.

And he'll be on the exempt list, which means he can't even report to team facilities, until the NFL finishes their investigation. At that point, it appears he's going to get 4 games for each incident now, so he won't even be able to REPORT until the first of DECEMBER.

This place gets dumber by the minute.

As a human being, I sincerely hope Kareem Hunt is getting the help he needs. Having worked with so many youngsters struggling with the stuff he does, going to Cleveland sure seems like a really bad idea.

Things can be tried today if a risk factor is diagnosed in the early stages, and a lot of money is being invested in this.

We may argue as friends if releasing KHunt was a smart move or not, or about Andy's time management - which is what makes this board great - but I believe information regarding health issues which anyone may face in the future, not necessarily related to Football as this is NOT the only cause of CTE, should not be misrepresented.
