I like him but he's never played in a defense like ours that plays so much man. And he isn't getting faster or quicker at 30. Costs too much for what we'd get IMO.

Why? Alex is gone. People hoping for a 1st were being completely unreasonable. Veach got a 3rd and a player for a 34 year old QB with 13 years of evidence to suggest he isn't going to get the job done. Josh Norman has had 2 really poopy seasons with wash, pro fb ref has him at an AV of only 5 (vs 15 his last year in Carolina). He had 0 INT in 14 starts last year
