#97 the lineman played it perfectly. He sidestepped left to present an open lane and waited for Smith to take the bait. Great play call and execution.

And Smith was dumb enough to fall for it.

Gigabytes everyone.

Sometimes you've gotta just give a guy a chance.

4 down situation and Smith averages 6 yards a carry. If he jukes a defender he likely gets the first down. It's just disappointing to see this team go into another battle without its best players due to injury. And for Reid to leave Kareem on the bench.

Man I agree with you but on two of those drives it wasn't on him that the drives ended. On one, we couldn't run for a single yard on the option - no push by the oline. Second one is Olson dropping the freaking ball that hit him in the torso. So there are a couple of 1st downs that never happened that should have but lets just pretend its all his fault?

I think Alex would be a good fit in Jacksonville. They have a great defense. Alex is a good game manager and that's all they need with such a good defense. Bortles is a terrible QB.

Cause Reid couldn't mess it up. Hurry-up tempo and letting Smith run the 2 minute offense. We've seen the stats, this team thrives on aggression.

Unfortunately, Reid plays to lose.

ROFLWe will see soon enough.

I think the play calling stays the same, execution lacks

We were playing from behind at that point. So not sure what you are getting at

Lack of aggression got us there

He gave Wilson a chance yesterday and Wilson chose not to drive for the ball. He just put up his alligator arms and then avoided the hit from the FS he knew was coming.

Bye the way, how many drops were there yesterday by Alex.

4 drives in the second have which 2 ended on plays that somebody else screwed up and its Alex cant make the big play theme. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

Alex won’t win even with that defense. Whatever the other team scores he will score just slightly less than them.

If Wilson dives for that pass, his neck is broke more than likely. And he's not catching it if he dives.

To who? Reek was likely double teamed. Kelce wasn't out there. Orson Charles had dropped a crucial pass. We don't have the all-22 film so we don't know.

I was at the Denver game. Mahomes targeted Wilson 10 times... all completions. (Wilson's one incomplete play was thrown by Bray) In order for Mahomes/Wilson: 17,19,24,9,14,5,19,13,13, and 14 yards. Wilson wasn't always wide open. Mahomes was throwing him open on many of those passes.

Smith really doesn't throw receivers open that much.

BTW, that was a career day for Wilson. :hmmm:

Alex overthrew Wilson. Wilson had to leap in the high as high as he could go just to get his fingers on the ball.

And, if Alex did not completely **** up the 3rd down play, they would not have needed the desperation pass on 4th down.

It's football. An illegal hit wins you the game.

You trust that the right thing will happen and you go do your job. He definitely left his feet too early.

New World Order 01-07-2018 01:48 PM

Alex choked when we needed him the most...again

It was a bad pass dude. You have to throw that thing in there on more of a line. Wilson never had a chance to catch that pass realistically.
