Um no. FCB is playing in a class of its own right now. That said, I would LOVE to see an all Spanish Champions League final.

Right now they are but during the first leg of the season, before all the injuries, RM had an arguably better spell themselves.

FCB is really in form right now though, going to be fun watching Bayern and Barcelona tear each other to shreds. :)

Mayweather has been fighting this defensive style and winning on points his whole career. Why would people think it would be different this time?

Maybe boxing purists like this style but the American public wants knockouts. This is one of the main factors on the decline of boxing's popularity.

So like someone said - change the scoring to reward aggression more and punish clinching and playing defense with no intention of ever countering with real offense.

I'd bet 90% of the general public, who bought into the advertising hype, had no clue how boring it is to watch Mayweather's fighting style. The Facebook feed is flooded with the chicken running around the ring gif and how much boxing sucks comments.

Back when fights were about beating the other guy into submission and not scoring points.
