He doesn't have a long top gear but he gets through the first 3 shifts as fast as any passer in the game. He's as capable as any quarterback* in the league of getting around a rusher and getting to the sticks.

This thread is slowly winding down...there doesn't seem to be much more to be said. The game is going to come down to PMII's individual brilliance vs. the 49ers' explosive pass rush. If Reid/PMII can figure it out, KC wins. If they can't, KC may they may still win if KC takes away the 49ers running game and JG can't move the 49ers offense. I'm hoping it's going to be a great game. IMO, you have the two best teams in the NFL facing each other, with both at near strength. What more can you ask for in a Superbowl (besides a win for your team)? Good luck fans.

Brees has clearly declined, which holds all that talent back. Mahomes’s ability to extend plays and make EVERY throw makes the talent around him perform at a much higher level.

When you consider positional value and impacts, the Chiefs are the most talented team in the league.

The most important matchup coach for KC is Spags. He doesn't need to win or even draw against Shanahan. Just don't get clobbered and Reid will take care of Saleh.

Fun fact. With Mahomes being the starting QB the Chiefs have been down double digits 8 times and all 8 times they have came back to either tie or take the lead
