Yeah I can't find anything. Oh well. Meaningless anyway with how ****ed up the FedEx cup is

All year. Can't hit off the tee. If I happen to iron that during a round, it's being unable to hit a green from 60 yards, 80 yards, 100-150 yards. If I do that then I bungle chips and putts.

Today was culmination of the good and the bad. Was bad off the tee on 1 and took +3. Scrambled for 4 pars on the front, including a 60ft bogey saving putt over an undulating green.

Long story short, I hit 7 pars and had a single birdie. BUT, I had three triple bogeys and three double bogeys. Finished with a 90.

Listening to SiriusXM yesterday, somebody called in saying that his ball had moved while he was in the woods. Somebody checked the film, and an official let Tiger know he was being assessed a two-stroke penalty before he signed his card.

So you were -1 for 8 holes(That's great!) but then +20 on the other 10 holes.(That's worse than terrible!) Golf is a fickle ****ing game.

Saw it today. Meh. Johnny Miller of course trying to stir shit up. "raise a few eyebrows among the players".... Nobody could hate Tiger more

Today's brag is I mowed the back yard (push mower) and cleaned the dog pens. After that took a shower and then played 9. Shot 36 with two 3 putts and I also missed two birdie putts that I should have made. I hit 6 drivers and hit five fairways. On the layup hole I smoked a 5 wood through the fairway. I hit 7 greens but of the missed greens one was a foot off the surface not much more then 15' from the hole. My ball striking has come around and it makes me giddy as a school girl.

I recently figured out that the biggest issue behind my struggles this year is an unusual one: I was coming way too far from the inside on everything, from chips to drivers. Feeling like I'm coming OTT while keeping my spine angle has me compressing the hell out of the ball right now.

Yes, I was all over the place with respect to good and bad.

It's been a couple of weeks since a golf post. I'd like to hear/read more golf stories from you guys. I hadn't played since last Tuesday but I got out and played nine holes today. This Oh' Boy(How would you spell that?) ask me if I wanted to play as I was stretching by the 1st tee. I said "sure, you gonna play the back tees with me?" He shook his head yes and walked back to the back tee. He made his play well before I was done with my stretching routine. I didn't rush.

I have this routine I go through on the first tee that allows me to pretty much smoke my first shot and it works so I stuck to it. I smoked it. Then I hit a full wedge to 2' from the cup. Birdie! I do that a lot. I think 'Red' was impressed. Anyway I shot -1 for the nine with 14 putts. I hit the first 5 fairways then missed the last two.:grr: I only hit 5 greens in regulation and that's not really good for me on that particular nine holes. All in all that's good golf though.

It rained during the nine holes and when it subsided there was a beautiful rainbow. It was the first time I'd ever seen the whole rainbow. You could see it from ground zero on one side and then the whole arc to ground zero on the other side. It was perfect.

It was a nice early evening.

For any of you his in KC, if you are in the look for anything golf, head up north to zona to the Edwin watts. Going out of business sale, everything 20-40% off. Just picked up a bushnell rangefinder for half price.

Clubs everything. Re upped the wedge collection with 3 new vokeys for 150 bucks, total. Tempted to go pick up some more stuff and throw it on eBay.

Caved the face in on my R11s again and Taylor Made sent me a new R1. Sucks having a new club in the winter!

No one was ever in that place, either. It, like almost all golf stores (and the prior occupant before EW bought it out) were horrendously overpriced.

It won't make it that long. A lot of the big stuff was cleaned out (Titleist stuff other than wedges and the odd woods) but there is basically everything other than that left.

I lucked into hitting it at the right time. Pro V's were 20 bucks per box.

If you can hit it this weekend, at all possible, do it. The clerk who I became somewhat friends with said everything on the weekend is gonna be like 50-70 percent off. I'm thinking about going back and buying the 5 Scotty's they've got left and just throwing them on Ebay.

I hate you.

If you're needing any rain gear, FJ Nike Adidas, it's crazy cheap too and there was a lot left.

I bought the FJ windbreaker shortsleeve for like 50 bucks and a full FJ rain suit for 100.

I went a bit overboard but damn, I bet I saved a grand. Atleast.
