Bailey-Logan-Jones with Nacho, Jenkins and a few draft picks? Not terrible.

And hopefully we see Jones take his game to another level and be a more consistent force game in and game out.

One of our biggest problems last year was the pass rush. Look at how everything changed when Chris Jones left the game in the playoffs?

If we are going to score a bunch of points next year, we need to load up on pass rushers.

Look for another version of Chris Jones, especially since it’s a deep DB draft.

A lot of that is on Sutton for heavily relying on a 3 man rush.

To run a 3-4 defense effectively regardless of whether your plan is to stop the run or pass, you need to free up your LBers to make plays.

And what better way to do that than getting a dominant NT? Add a fat body is like an indirect way of improving your passrush.

I don't understand why you want your DL to just take up blockers and take up running lanes. I'd want them to blow up the line

Both can happen at the same time. In fact, Vita Vea does both.

Veach probably thought he could get a good DL from FA but at this point, you're left wondering if we shouldn't have traded for Danny Shelton, similarly to the trades for Ragland and Erving.

He could still very well make a deal like that again come July.

Like I have said before there will be very little wood given regardless of the upgrade at LB IF we don't have at least a competitive DL that includes a decent NT. When the offensive line can get into our 2nd level consistently which is what happened a lot last year now the LB's have to shed those blocks more often thus less tackling on top of missed tackles as well.

I don't think we have enough to go up and get Vea. But I'd be happy if Veach has that kind of wizardry.

Vea is a little meh to me. He's good but I dunno that he's really THAT good.

I'd rather have one of the Bama DL.
