McCluster and/or Wylie could do a fine job in that role. Avant has a deep element to him that McCluster won't have, but McCluster can do those underneath routes. Really, Breaston would be a perfect Avant proxy. |

I'd say L.C.'s is probably the best bbq restaurant in KC now. |

I still think Reid would go Bowe, Baldwin and Breaston. McCluster or Wylie would probably be the 4th WR. |

Reid ignores defense?
What world do you live on? Signed Namdi, traded for DRC, drafted Nate Allen in 2nd round, traded for Ryans, drafted Kendricks last year, Fletcher Cox in first, Brandon Graham in first, Broderick Bunkley in first, signed Babin. This was all over the last 6 years. The guy hasn't hired the right DC yet besides Jim Johnson. |
Do we have Breaston for another year? His contract is a little stout for next season, isn't it (at least I thought I remembered it being pretty backloaded into that last season)? With very little leverage, I wonder if we could get him to re-structure into a reasonable extension for a year or two.
I really like Breston's potential an a Reid offense. He could be a great fit as the #3 WR. And if Tavon Austin ends up available in the 2nd, I'm on board with taking him now as I think he could be similar to DeSean Jackson. |
bring in Rex Ryan if you can get a foot in the door with the jets.
