Holy shit! Chiefsplanet.com made nfl.com. That is ****ing incredible!
|
Gregg Rosenthal took a shot at us in the end, but wow! It's big time now. You should've given your last name, bro.
|
and one of the first comments on NFL.com is someone completely missing the point; thinking we want Quinn over Cassel.

LOL... you are all giving ALL CAPS DEB a hard time.
When the Twitter debacle happened, on ProFootballTalk and on the Yahoo article... people on there threatened to kill me and my family because of it. There are a lot of really dumb Chiefs fans out there. CP happens to be the creme of the crop... but man, there are some SERIOUS mouth breathers out there. |
Would have been nice if NFL.com had given us a link instead of TOPSPIN.com or whatever. WHO TF are they?
|
I'm getting really sick and tired of reporters questioning what we choose to spend our money on.
|
me too. Like it's a hung undertaking to raise the money. Not diminishing what we've done etc...but they act like 2 guys pooled their money.
$10-25 is hardly a ton of money. Sh*t, thats the cost of 3 beers at the stadium that puts out a sh*tty product for decades. idiots |

NFL.COM bitch!!

@greggrosenthal It doesn't speak to the economy. We would rather spend money flying a banner than on gear & concessions. WE DESERVE BETTER! |

I like how flying a banner in this economy is a bad thing but supporting a team who let one of it's best players walk and isn't trying to win is a waste of money.

Friggin awesome!

I wonder if there's anyway they could legally put a stop to this.
|
If it didn't go completely against what we're trying to accomplish I would go this Sunday.

The only thing I can see The Don trying to do would be to get in contact the the airline co and offering him 10k not to fly. Then, we are at the mercy of how ethical the guy is. |

Just as a father or uncle, I'm proud of you guys. This is a great demonstration of comradery and diligence that you guys have pulled together these types of funds to voice an opinion. Whether people agree or disagree with the message or the usage of donated funds, it's A+ in my book and I'm proud to have been apart of this board for so long that I saw this take place with my own eyes. It does a Chiefs fan's heart proud and will make for a gripping story for future generations down the road.
|
Pioli won't shut it down because he believes that Cassel will throw for 300 yards to silence the critics.

I'm sorry.....but this is ****ing epic. I never imagined it would get to this point. The only thing that could make it better is if this was the first step in getting Cassel benched and Pioli fired.
|
Assuming this Sunday brings another loss, you guys should bring out some sort of kettle and bells (think salvation army) along with some signage to collect more donations at the stadium exits or parking lot. Arrowhead might have some sort of policy against this though.

Long, striped, tube socks of fidelity. I used to have a pair of those. I still have one but the other is lost somewhere. I was going to really look around for it but I decided **** it, and got some ankle socks of mediocrity. You crack me up, btw Fax. Hard. |

We need to supply them with small, digestible tidbits of information (much like the major media outlets do). The average person has an attention span similar to the size of Pioli's humility. What we need are little factoids that have shock effect and spark their emotions. Then, over time, these tiny, itsy-bitsy, little sparks will eventually combine into a raging, hellish inferno that will evolve into a conflagration that burns the very flesh off Pioli's evil bones. Welcome to the new age of media. YOU are the media.
