So, I get that it's the Jets, but what was the REAL reason the Jets gave up on developing a guy like Darnold? He'd be a fantastic fit for that team AND they would have saved themselves a bunch of first-rounders.

That protection check and throw were fantastic there.

If the Vikings take the 1, the Lions are done.

They aren’t winning 3 road games to get to the Super Bowl with those injuries.

Part of this is the league’s greed and the need to have games on almost every day. So now, on Sunday afternoon, we are left with one kinda good game (or at least so far) and one absolute dud.

The Dolphins are a great example of what I’m talking about. I get no Tua but Huntley is playing well and they have (according to media) this great head coach in McDaniel. But as a potential playoff team (lol) they are doing absolutely nothing vs an awful Browns team.

Yeah, and most of the reasons the league is a watered down mess of mediocrity can be fixed by taking the greed out of it.

- Get rid of TNF
- Only have teams travel internationally before a bye week
- Go back to 16 games (if not fewer)
- Remove the 7th playoff team
- Drop at least 4 teams to help end this shit where entire divisions are pure shit... and then we'd be closer to the actual number of starting QBs in the league (but probably shouldn't drop to 20 teams LMAO)

Obviously none of that will ever happen because yay money, but soon enough they'll have 34 or more teams and an international team and 8+ teams in the playoffs and it'll be even more popular.

Yeah that’s the problem for the Lions. Most of the NFC playoff teams can win a game in Detroit. I’m don’t think Detroit can win on the road in Philly.
