Now had Foles been in the league 10 years, and had a shit start in the first 5, and good showing in his last 5, that last 5 would be a more accurate indicator of the QB he is today. As it is, if being reasonable, studying a QB's career path of recent years far outweighs the years of distant past. Foles is in yr 5 now.. and should only be judged on those years. Smith is in yr 12 now.. and should only be judged on his recent years. If one is being fair and trying to discern what this Qb can bring a team today. Foles has one great yr and then a concerning few. Smith has a steady and solid 5. |

Funny you mention the short field,. As soon as Foles went in Kendall gammons on the broadcast stated that Indy will have to defend the whole field as Foles will put pressure on the DBs were Smith can't. |

Even in St. Louis, Foles was making plays. Just not enough due to lack of talent around him.

Yes, it's amazing what you can do when you actually try! http://i.imgur.com/f9AkI40.gif PURE ARM TALENT, BABY. http://i.imgur.com/YUNuvgw.gif Willingness to stand in and throw a strike. http://i.imgur.com/JVLq8rL.gif Also holy shit what a throw. https://cdn3.vox-cdn.com/uploads/cho...838/jmac.0.gif This could be fun, guys. Quit actin' a Foles and kneel before your new King. |
Jacksonville gives up the 8th fewest passing yards per game in the entire NFL. Where are people getting this idea that Jacksonville is some terrible defense that any QB should just shred?
