You forgot, "The only people who watch college football are in the South."

If a tree falls in the forest and there's no one there to see it. Does it really fall?

I'd argue that they bring plenty to the table for inclusion - perhaps more than anyone else available. There are some BYU-centric hurdles; but my feeling is that the only one that's a sacred cow is the Sunday play thing. In the big scheme of things, that doesn't seem to be a big deal.

So, folks in Big-12 country, what do you think?

The common thought within the conference is that there are no teams outside of the power 5 that would financially impact the Big 12 in a way that would increase the per school payout that currently exist.

This doesn't outweigh the positives for fans and the school that they experience with all teams playing each other once a year.

I can faintly recall Deaton & Alden announcing the sec move by saying "We be steppin' up". And time to raise donor funds - this was now the big leagues! No time for Big 12 caliber facilities nope.

Fast forward three years. SEC-Least football is again equivalent to the Big 12, Mizzou has played the identical SoS to Kansas since then, and basketball isn't even close. (Big 12 #1 in Sagarin & Pomeroy - just like last year)

So much for "steppin' up"

So the top rated Big X team, Oklahoma, is #26. 14 SEC teams got better TV ratings - only Kentucky and Vandy did not.

Good news for you regarding Josh Moore. It doesn't sound like he will be playing for Mizzou next year.

Josh Moore?

He decommited from Ohio State and is coming to Kansas.

When did I say any different.

You were wrong, it's okay. We can move on.

SEC>>>big whatever.

With the same SoS, Mizzou won. Why did ku decide to tank?

I could be wrong, but I'm guessing he doesn't make it to Kansas (for at least a few years, if ever).

Better competition? Nope
Way more $$$ ? Nope
Big 12 to collapse? Nope

I guess when y'all have been wrong on every prediction, the only thing left is tv ratings in the South. It's the last bullet in your chamber

I wouldn't spike the football just yet if I were you...and I certainly wasn't wrong about a thing referring to Moore.

So a typical Missouri football game drew the same number of viewers as an average Kansas game...plus an average Iowa State game...plus an average Texas game?

I guess I'm still on board with the move to the SEC.
