Yeah. That one stuck with me for a few days. I’m not normally the high brow artsy dude but that one was ****ing good.

I am not sure who I felt sorrier for at the end... Colin's character or the son of the policeman.

Went and watched 65 today. Was one of the better movies I've seen in a long while. Asteroid extinction level event/hungry ass dinosaurs of all sizes/spaceships and alien technology blowing said dinosaurs apart. It's got it all for a good popcorn flick that didn't seem to be a very long movie.

anyone got a tweak or something to get older PCs to play 4k HEVC/H.265 smootly

got an i7 4th gen, 16 GB, with intel HD 4600/quadro k100M graphics that gets me 90% of the way there but odd dropped frames every minute or so

wondering if there's some combo of settings in WMP-HC or VLC that will do the trick...or maybe just more RAM

Anyone catch The Menu 2022 with Ralph Fiennes? I have to say that even though it was strange it was a damn good movie. Makes you want a cheeseburger in the worst way.

It was pretty compelling.

Very arty in a way that will never happen. But some really tight shit in there. Some really interesting thoughts about elitism, fanaticism. Good stuff.

Fiennes is so good. ATJ was really good also.

It's becoming that I'll watch just about anything with ATJ. She might be the finest actress in the biz these days.

She’s really good, went toe to toe on the big screen with Fiennes. They killed it.

Yep, one of my favorites last year. It's mentioned in this thread a couple pages back.

Any Andy Weir fans?

Loved the Martian and just finished the audiobook for Project Hail Mary. It was even better IMO. He’s sold the movie rights with Ryan Gosling being the lead
