Other teams defenses know that Reid never runs the ball so they can tee off the qb almost every down. Whoever our starter is he'll probably be hurt by mid season

Lesean McCoy ran the ball 273 times in 2011, 7th in the NFL.

Doug Pederson was the starting QB in Philly during Reid's first season there. I believe he's the Eagles QB coach right now.

San Diego wants to hire a GM with all of the power and then have that GM hire the coach.

Reid likely won't even interview there since they haven't hired a GM yet.

I cant get myself all that pumped for a guy who has gone like 66-60-1 since 2004....and basically underperformed since then

Said "deal could get done, it might not" "Could happen today, could not".

Reid has already begun contacting members of the Eagles coaching staff. As Eskin said, Doug Pederson would be QB coach. I think Childress is going to be the OC. May not be any room for Shurmur.

The Chargers already made it clear they didn't want him, and haven't even hired a GM. IMO, Reid is using SD and Arizona as a leverage play.
