My cousin who has some vehement hatred for MMA decided to watch this card with me. I was hoping Diaz and Silva would convert him over. I was sorely mistaken.

It would be like trying to convert your friend over to fat chicks by showing him nude spreads of Roseanne Barr.

Thought the fight went:

1 - Gastelum
2 - Woodley
3 - Gastelum

Not sure how the hell 1 judge thought Woodley won every single round.

There was so little action I dont know how you score those rounds. Nobody got robbed. I know that for sure.

I missed the event last night but it is nice to see silva pounded that stupid mofo Diaz.
Shit talkers that can't back it up are the worst.

Hardly pounded him...it was a glorified sparring session.

Had high hopes for that fight...no idea why Diaz didn't move forward and press AS, the few times he did it worked.

He had to pick his shots since Silva is a great counter striker.

I think he is. With how tentative he was and what he said in the post fight interview, I think he wanted to see if he could win one more fight. I think he has realized he can't/won't be champ again so he is going to hang it up.

And on the fight itself, I felt both fighters were hesitant because they are both good strikers.

The people at the rehab facility, who are used to dealing with strung-out junkies who actually have real addiction problems, told him to leave and maybe seek some outpatient counselling.
