It doesn't seem like the SEC wants to expand. Even though they are southern cousin fuckers they have this dbag attitude in football that they are better than everybody else, and they already make a ton of money per school. I don't know how intent they are of adding anybody unless it would be to the west - IE Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State. I would think if the SEC could do that and go to a 16 team conference that would be what they would do. I know if I was the head of the SEC I'd try to get everybody on board w/ that right now.

I don't think they really see any teams from the Big East and ACC as great football schools they want to pick up. At least I wouldn't if I was in their perspective. If I was the SEC commissioner right now, I'd just offer to those four and call it good.

So is there a confrence KU hasn't been rumored to join yet?

Somebody has got to get kicked out though. You can't have a 20 team basketball conference. Just make a new god damn conference already. Cut loose the dead weight (providence, st johns etc)

That part is pretty much a given. There are already 8 schools who don't have football. If you want to get a little crazy, I could see a basketball only conference forming:

That would give them 16 teams. Obviously it's a little crazy to think that some of those teams might give up football, but it would be interesting.

For sure. Nebraska is nowhere close to being the Nebraska of the old Big 8.

And Kstate will be playing in a non BCS confrence. Not that it matters they never made it to a national championship game anyway.

Actually we are, for most of our Big 8 run we won 9 or 10 games a year and lost the big games. That's pretty much where we're at now.
