I get what he's doing but why is he feuding with Black of all people while doing it? I guess if they're going meta with it Black is pretty much adored despite the fact he's supposed to be this terrible bad guy so whatever works.

It was funny how the crowd hated him.

Alot of his problem is how badly he wants to be his dad, to the extent he tries to recreate primos and moments and it never works.

Level 1: Cody is a good guy.

Level 2: Cody is a good guy who’s so obnoxious at being a good guy that he’s actually a bad guy.

Level 3: Cody is a good guy and is so obnoxious as a good guy, that you come back around and appreciate his desire to so badly be a good guy even though he has no idea how to actually be one

Level 4: Cody is a good guy, is incredibly obnoxious as a good guy, and then realizes that fans interpret this as Level 2 Cody and not his earnest Level 3 Cody, thus actually now trending toward being a bad guy. <— WE ARE HERE

Him and Brandi would make an excellent heel power couple ala Triple H and Stephanie, provided they balance out that whole emasculating all of your talent issue.

Why in the **** did WWE change Rex Steiner's name to whatever the **** it is now? Just let the ****ing kid be a Steiner legit and he's damn near guaranteed to get over just based on that, nevermind the fact that he pretty much checks every single box you could ask for in a prototypical WWE wrestler.
