Just another in their hilarious line of stupidity that emanates from that reerun fan base.

I hear that Oklahoma is moving their campus to Washington State so they can join the Pac-12.

I personally love a 10 team league. The attention you get is magnified by everyone.

I couldn't even name you all the teams in the BIG or SEC. Let alone who cares about any of those teams who have never been to the BCS or Final Four.

You can't really think UCONN didn't suffer a bit of a loss in realignment - when they went from being in a top 3 hoops conference to being in the AAC - can you? That league was fine this year but loses Louisville soon.

They're in a less prestigious league that is on less firm ground. Memphis, UCONN and Cincinnati is not a TERRIBLE threesome to hold up your league, but it isn't tremendous, either.

Also, pretty much all of UCONN's key contributors were juniors or seniors recruited when UCONN was part of the Big East. They haven't recruited as well over the past few years and don't have an overwhelming amount of talent coming in this year. You think maybe being in the AAC instead of the BEAST with Syracuse and St. John's and Georgetown, et al, is maybe hampering Ollie's recruiting efforts? Just a tad?

Will be interesting to see how they progress without Napier et al. Omar Calhoun is the one guy on the roster who was pretty highly regarded, but he hasn't done much yet.

I love college football. It's a great exhibition that showcases future NFL talent.

College Basketball has a preseason, a regular season, and postseason playoffs.

Just like MLB, NFL, NBA, etc etc

College Football has very little similar to all these leagues. It's an exhibition which lets us drink beer starting at 10am.

How can you call it anything else with no playoff system?

There certainly is a crapload more interest than there used to be.

Which is determined both in participation and seeding by subjective methods such as a committee.

How is it any less of an exhibition than football?

You never saw me ask for TCU. Louisville was always my choice. Has been since the beginning.

Plenty of fans seem thankful for West Virginia though.

Nope, I don't have a problem with West Virginia. They bring BCS and Final Fours to the conference. Much more than the schools that left except for maybe Nebraska and their football excellence.
