Either way, he is somewhat that the defense must account for, opening up more opportunities for Kelce and Hill. That alone is worth 16 mil. And if the defense focuses too much on Kelce/Hill, then you've got Watkins vs a #3 cornerback, and the athletic Robinson vs a 4.

Reid said in his press conference this morning that Fuller and Nelson will play both inside and outside and that both are starters.

I'd imagine one of the guys will drop into the slot on 3rd down, with Amerson on the outside.

Watkins is much more of an impact player than any of the DL that has been available.

I've said it a few times now, I believe Nelson's best game last year was against Oakland when he got a lot more outside CB looks with Peters out.

He was our #2 last year. He just slid inside in subs.

He would give our defense another play maker on the back end. Him & Berry would be stellar together in short yardage and deep passing lanes.


I agree he has been injury prone, but I believe if you get him and he stay injury free than you have won big.
