I'm perfectly fine with Reek as the #1... if we grab someone, it should be a #2 IMO |

We’d have a trillion dollars in WR’s in 2-3 years, but dammit it’d be fun. |

How desperate have we gotten that we want Suh and OBJ now? |

In terms of a "big" FA signing, corner makes the most sense based on the market and need but I'm starting to worry if they think Amerson could be a starter then they are done spending on the position... |

Richard Sherman to the 49ers on possibly a 3 year deal. It’s being discussed

They can max out some contracts this offseason and push for the next 4 years
Gotta figure in a big Mahomes deal if all goes well at that point |

We HAVE to have some help no doubt, but people are going overboard... spending money like drunken sailors |

49ers go from no hope to playoff potential in 2 offseasons. John Lynch quietly being underrated
|
Tyreek Hill hit 1183 in his first year at 1, with Alex Smith throwing him the ball, think about that for a minute...
Now just imagine what he is capable of with a second year of seasoning in that spot, and a sexy ass long ball meister like Mahomes chucking him the rock... nah, we do NOT need an expensive replacement for Tyreek Hill |
We don't have a ton of resources to fix the defense. Are they really going to give up cap space and draft picks for a wr? How do we fix the defense?

He has his ring, so now its all about the money... well, bye |
If the #1 thing in the next couple years is to give Mahomes the best chance to develop, putting great skill guys around him would do it
|
Per Schefter And now it’s done: 49ers and CB Richard Sherman reached agreement tonight on a three-year deal, source tells ESPN.
Sherman is a 49er. |

Guys, zero chance that OBJ becomes a Chief. Buuuuuuuut, let's say they offered him to us for Houston...would you approve?

3 years 39 million for Sherman.

Sign Richardson, Tre Boston, E.J. Gaines, and a DE or NT. |

I must say though that if Richardson only gets $7M, I don’t see how Watkins gets more than $10M. And in that case I’d probably rather have Sammy.
|
Paul Richardson is a gamer. He would be a good fit on this team I think.
And he is only 25. |
Paul Richardson is the guy I thought of when Veach said he'd be a player in the speedy receiver market. He makes more sense than Robinson in that regard. Watkins is a possibility, but Richardson seems more likely.
|
I’d be fine with Sheldon and Paul Richardson, NT and another corner.

Who is the top FA CB available now?

We could always backload it and make his "guaranteed" money in bonuses so that if he doesn't produce that we can get rid of him without a huge hit to the cap. |

Can’t embed, but this is a tweet from la can fora
Dolphins continue to strongly consider moving on from Ndamukong Suh. Reported at midseason ownership prepared to go without him in 2018 |
Quote:
Mahomes will be taking 7th round ****s like Donald Driver was for Brett Favre and turning them into team record holders. It's tempting to give him established star NFL talent, but if you REALLY want to support a young QB, give him an OL and a decent defense before any of that other shit. Defense. Defense. Defense. |
Quote:
Best way to help the d is by scoring a **** load of points |
Upgrade LG and WR and use everything else to upgrade the defense.
|
KC needs a #2 TE somewhere between the skillset of Jason Dunn and circa 2013 Sean McGrath
*ducks for cover* |

I'd rather get Watkins or Richardson and go balls out on defense than give resources AND a truck ton of cash for Odell...

They’ve got the money to do both if they want |
They can draft their asses off and improve the defense.
The 2nd they got from the rams for peters would get Odell and you pay him a bit more than the dude from Tampa just got. That deal would essentially be paid up in 3 or 4 years when Mahomes is coming due. They need to try and put as much around Mahomes as they can |

Go get some of these guys please...

Wonder who Veach could trade this upcoming week?
I wouldn’t be surprised if Tanoh, Nelson, Conley, Robinson or Bailey were traded. |
Quote:
We really need to see what we have with Robinson IMO. |

I missed out on all the Allen Robinson talk... where does that situation stand right now?
|
Smith was the definition of a "system" QB...if the play call didn't create a mismatch, he either ran or threw the ball away. He left a lot of open receivers on the field..
Mahomes is an improv, seat-of-your-pants, type QB...he sees the field, live, so much better than AS..and has the arm to pull it off. What I'm getting at is I'm not sure KC really needs another bluechip WR...Wilson had 150 yards in Mahomes first start. Kelce, Conley, Hunt and Hill weren't even playing. |
