Well, enough for me for tonight.
'night, all. |

Great. It's like waiting in the parking lot at a store on Black Friday. Everyone waits in their nice warm cars until the first person decides to get in line. Then everyone follows. I'm good for another 20 minutes. |
I gots 21 minutes left.
|
I honestly don't see much point in going to sleep after being awake this long.

I hate this time of morning. It's too quiet.

I have a hard time sleeping without a full bed: The wife, the dog, and 3 cats.
|
I keep thinking tomorrow is Friday, which freaks me out because I have a meeting at work at 9:30 in the friggin' morning. I keep thinking I should be in bed. Ya'all will only have me for a few minutes tomorrow night. One of those "hope to be asleep by 2AM type of things. Getting up at 8:30 will be fun.
|
Go turn on the History International channel. Puts me to sleep every time without fail.

Oh, random thought...SP said he looks kind alike sedated, and they both have Homer in their avatars. I wonder if that's what he meant to begin with. Probably. And I'm just getting it. A little slow on the draw tonight. MAybe it's time I go to bed. |

If you have to get up at 8:30, I would definitely suggest sleep.

History channel = good History international = terrible, especially when they show the programs in other languages. Something about their programming just screams 7th grade "the teacher is forcing us to watch this thing". |

Wait . . . is it Thursday morning?
Dammit. Someone needs to buy me a calendar that I'll actually look at. |

I plan on being an active participant tonight. I don't go to school tomorrow, thankfully because of the weather. I did five hours of reading and note-taking on Wednesday

My mom is in charge of the birthday cards and things like that at a grocery store. She just received a new shipment of cards that you open, and the card plays a song. One of the cards plays a Johnny Cash tune. I gotta have it. At $4.99, it must be a kick-ass card.

You guys gave me false hope about receiving a noob of the year nomination. I wouldn't have expected it, though. I can only blame myself for not posting often enough.

anyone drinking tonight? if so, what. If not what do you wish you were drinking?
|
It looks like things are back to normal in Lawrence. I wouldn't mind having a championship team of any kind around here. It's been forever since we had anything like that to anticipate.

OK, I'll start; I wasn't going to drink tonight, but I can't sleep, so I just poured some maker's mark and water, no extra calories. |

I have found that a sure way to get an insane hangover is drink two Long Islands, and then rinse it down with a vodka-cranberry. First of all, they don't call LIT "old reliable" for nothing. And then you're finishing off those with another strong concoction.
