It's 79 here with 40mph winds. From the looks of the radar, I'm guessing it's going to stay west and South of us for the most part. We are barely in the watch area. That would be right in line with the mesoscale discussion Displaced posted a couple of hours ago.

I want to go for a run on the trail but Im afraid a tree will fall and squash my ass.

All our windows have vertical blinds, and on a windy day they blow so bad that I have open them completely and then tie them together. Also, my den has a south facing window, and if I open the blinds the sunlight hits my monitor screen to the point that I can barely see anything. Plus, my marriage is basically my wife downstairs yelling shit up at me and me yelling "WHAT?" in response, and nobody walking outside wants to hear that. Throw in three cats who like to tear the shit out of the screens, and I pretty much keep the windows closed. :D

My brother just got evacuated from a wildfire in Oklahoma. Man... I'm not a religious person but I pray everyone will be okay.

Yeah, shit happening by Omaha now. Coming straight north.
