I'm probably way off but...I kinda feel like there might be an expanded role for Nazeeh Johnson. Think he ran in the 4.3s and he looked QUICK on STs, and a way more reliable tackler than in college

He wasn't JUST drafted for ST. The team really likes him as as defender. You could absolutely be correct.

Edit: His fastest was 4.32.

This guy is good. Another Vorch home run.

Cook saved the game for KC.

I remember people complaining when he was drafted. Always thought he was an outstanding pick.

An extremely underrated play tonight.

That was like the Roethlisberger tackle to stop the Colts on the scoop and score.

Yes it was and if Hall scores there we might very well have lost the game with Breece getting going because you don't want that. Cook tracks very well and doesn't get lost whether tracking the ball or player. My guess he played the outfield in baseball.;)

This was arguably the play of the game.

You really see tranquil inability to stack and shed and karalaftis lack of pursuit speed on that play. (Karalaftis got burned by the jets qb on several plays also)

I bet there aren't 5 other safeties in this league who could make that play. The way he adjusted his angle while running almost backwards and tackled with pure arm strength was damn impressive.

That was such a key play in the game that went unnoticed.

Very similar to that big gain Gray fought for on 3rd down against the Jags to set up a 4th and short. Unsung heroes.

The mood is up so everyone loves this pick, but this one’s pretty damn iffy. Underwater on pure value based on ANY objective review, not a position of true immediate need and not much ceiling.

This is a questionable pick that nobody wants to actually question because they like the other picks.

I'm not seeing the Abram comparison at all. Cook's the cerebral/vocal leader of our secondary while also providing that thump. He's an all around great safety.

Oof that was a rough one

Wonder what the fancy stats show his top speed on that return. Dude was hauling some serious ass

Yes, he was. His speed very much surprised me on that play.
