The mustache is a fraud. Glad we didn't get him as coach. Fact is, he is on KC, a much better team and threw down on Sunday. Let's see what happens this week. I am geeked to see it.

Heh, I just dont see anything Jeff Fisher does with his offense being a good barometer of anything

Ok.

Nobody said he didn't get his bell rung. Twice.

When you can't even sniff 20 TDs in a season you're nothing close to elite.

You know FULL WELL Alex Smith had proven to be nothing more than a game manager at best as soon he came here.

At least we have PROOF that Nick Foles can lead a bonafide aerial assault and not some dumpoff circlejerk. And his ceiling has yet to be realized.

There is absolutely no comparison between the two.

I can say this, and I don't speak for anybody else, but I know Alex Smith isn't elite. That's not where my conversation is directed. But he has won a lot of games. And you may chalk it up to the defense, that's fine. I would much rather watch an awesome defense with a "just good enough" offense when the wins are piling up. Do I think Nick Foles could win games with this team? Absolutely. He's probably good enough. But to sit there and say that he is leaps and bounds better than Alex Smith is illusionary. Hell, I think this team can win a super bowl with either/or at QB. But neither one of them is scratching the surface to being elite. Nick Foles doesn't give this team any better of a chance.

When you have zero chance with the other guy, yes he does.

Imagine if teams had to play catch up against this ****ing defense. ****ing shit.

Jeff Fisher being a ****ing reerun explains much of the Keenum decision

Foles' 7/10 TD/INT ratio compared to Keenum's 4/1 did have something to do with it.

Don't get me wrong Fishers Offense is a shit show, but Foles was trying to do to much & was literally almost losing games by himself at the end. He started off with a 5/1 TD/INT ratio, after that it was 2/9.

Who gives a shit.

If people here are going to complete erase vast swathes of Alex Smith's shitiful pre-2011 career, I'm going to dump that anomaly from Foles' record.

There. He's 14-4 as a starter in his last 18 starts, with nearly a 4:1 TD/INT ratio! MAGNIFICENT!

Thats fine, but heres how I see it

Foles is in there running a dinosaur system, not only is it outdated but its poorly implemented by the coaches, and poorly called on game day... so he struggles, like all Fisher QBs do

After some rah-rah from the coaches and guys trying to rally around the flag, Keenum comes in and looks slightly better for a few games... but that all fell apart rather quickly, as we now know

Fair enough, but as someone who watched every game it really was Foles trying to do too much. And I say that as someone who was pumped when the Rams traded for Foles & I was also pretty excited when I found out the Chiefs traded for him as I generally agree he got a bad deal with the Rams.

That's the downside to Foles, hopefully here he won't have to do as much, but when pressure's coming he's more likely to just toss it up much like the Hill catch last week. It really is a lot like the controversy we have going on now, Keenum was the guy who wouldn't turn the ball over like Smith is here.

The other thing I will point out is that most of Foles starts happened before Gurley started playing so that definitely figured into the stats as well.

Foles was surrounded by complete shit in STL. People that use his time there as a defense for their position are being lazy.

Personally, I don't think you win games that matter with him or Alex unless you have an epic defense - which we do not.

I really hope that Ware clears protocol, because I would like to see what he and the offense is capable of when the defense has to respect the entire field, and not just a 10 yard box from the LOS.

Kenny Britt, Lance Kendricks, Tavon Austin, Todd Mother ****ing Gurley are not complete shit.

This is what happened to Foles:

After that hit, Foles was shit. He threw 4 picks that day and eventually was benched because he played like shit after that game as well.
