Zeke has gotten somewhat of a pass for being a gutless choker this year

He blew the Houston game singlehandedly and I think they win this one too without him on the floor (he plays no defense, can’t dribble/pass and loses confidence in his shot if he misses one or two)

A shame because that might have been KJ’s best game in his entire career

That and running out of bounds in the national title game to give North Carolina one more shot to tie it.

And how many unforced turnovers?

He's such a sloppy ball handler.

He should just catch the ball and shoot it from wherever he is.

His stats vs top tier teams are similarly awful to his road stats, 84.6 ORtg vs “Tier A” teams on KenPom this year

Just shrivels up against any real adversity

As I said, the guy reminds me of Vick but he’s even worse

Thankfully we had big Dave save us from that choke

I can't wait for him and Juan to be done with the program.

WTF do we have to do to turn this team around?

Were the early season wins Fools Gold? Were all of those wins just poor play by our opponents? Combination of both?

The freaking talent is there, we are just not executing!

I can think of three very good reasons to hope the NCAA doesn’t give the extra year of eligibility and those are two of them

Darryn Peterson could learn a lot from them while he sits on the bench.

Nothing good of course, but he’ll learn a lot.

I mean we beat a fringe tournament UNC team at home by 2, Michigan State who has a laughable big 10 to play in, and Duke in their first big game ever for their best players. Not exactly amazing.

At the end of the day, this game says what we are. You can't blame this on effort or being lazy. Yes Mayo didn't play well but Hunter Griffen KJ did. We dominated the boards and points in the paint. We didn't really have foul trouble impact us, while it hurt them fairly significantly. We even got a rare second chance at a blown call at the end. And yet we lost. They just made more plays and beat us.

Can we beat anyone? Sure. But so can any NCAA tournament team. You can't judge our season on 1-2 wins and say that's who we are. We have far more of these losses than big wins. It is what it is at this point. We are a 6-10 seed and who knows what will happen in the tournament, but there isn't anything to suggest we can go on a deep run.
