And yes, The Royals and the Chiefs are bigger than the Big 12-4+very little tournament.

And as always, the state of Missouri thanks you for dropping your hard earned cash here.

The Big 12 thanks you for dropping 700m on a new playground just for us. Kemper was not suitable for this event and your taxpayers agree.

Well, you drunken idiots have likely paid that off already, so thanks. I guess all the other shit that goes on there is just pure profit for the state. Missouri wins again.

According to the city, the Big 12 tourney produces 10-15m in benefit. At 8% sales tax rates, that's about 1m per year in tax revenues to the City. The district costs about 20m per year per the link below. So we do kick in 5% of the cost. Every little bit helps.

Appreciate it. Keep coming back for more.

Here's a question - is Kansas truly the winner of the Big Howevermany if they can't even win the conference tournament?

Bambi 04-03-2014 12:32 PM

At the big 8.5 tourney and when your states schools travel to stlouis to end their ncaa runs

The P&L and Sprint Center are looked at the same way Manhattanites look at New Jersey when they go to Giants games.

A good place to go trash and make others clean it up.

Oh, and I'm not sure I get the "Missouri enjoys your dollars comments"

You people paid tax money to build all this stuff for us. It's hysterical.

The Mickey D roster (24 players) has 4 SEC recruits and 2 Big 12 recruits, with one still undecided and considering a couple Big 12 programs. Of the 6 signees, all are going to Kentucky or Kansas.

Bowser 04-03-2014 12:39 PM

Not nearly as hysterical as thinking Sprint for built for the Big Nameyournumber.

You entitled KU fans and your inferiority complexes are either funny or sad. Usually the latter.

Reasonable, I'd say.

I'm surprised Florida didn't get any, they're an outstanding program with tons of success, great location, stable coaching situation, seniors leaving and history of getting guys to the League. Texas is in a somewhat similar situation, although they are the favorite to land the lone undecided.

True, but Florida and Texas are so chock full of talent that they can pick and choose from the crops of their states. I'm assuming here with basketball since it's that way with football and baseball.
