Sitton was the 10th highest graded Pro Football Focus offensive lineman in 2017.

I know he has some injury issues, but he would have addressed the weakest position on the Chiefs’ offensive line (left guard).

He’s also at that age where a huge drop off can happen at any time.

I’ll pass.

Per source, DT Sheldon Richardson is in Minnesota today for a visit.

We aren't getting Richardson.

The Seahawks have reportedly offered him a deal worth $11 million annually.

For as bad as our OL is, they sure know how to get paid by teams. Just sayin’.

No kidding, Houston has $14 million+ in salary cap commitments tied up in freaking Zach Fulton and Jeff Allen.

There is a risk with any signing, but he’s 31 not 38 and it’s not like he’s a RB.

Does anyone realize having a QB who will stretch the field, with Watkins and Hill on the outside and Kelce running free in the middle is going to have a huge impact on our line?

What about having a QB who keeps his eyes up when there's pressure?

Our QB change is going to have a way bigger impact on our line than adding someone ever would.

That's a great point. I do think we need a bit of a bolster there, but this is solid.

There would be the reason why we didn't sign him.

ShowtimeSBMVP 03-15-2018 11:47 AM

Former Eagles TE Brent Celek is currently visiting the Lions... and I would also expect the Chiefs to have some interest

ShowtimeSBMVP 03-15-2018 11:48 AM

Browns are releasing CB Jason McCourty, source says. They’re rebooting with their own guys obviously. He should have interest elsewhere.

Sure, but the money in this case doesn’t make it worth the risk.

We need to find a long term solution at LG through the draft. Whether that’s Ehinger, a 2018 draft pick, or a 2019 draft pick remains to be seen.

RunKC 03-15-2018 11:50 AM

Holy shit if we get Brent Celek LMAO

Mecca 03-15-2018 11:53 AM

You'll probably see 1 or 2 interior lineman go in the middle rounds, you should be able to find a starting guard late in the draft, teams do it constantly.

No need to spend money there, a DL or a DB makes more sense.
