If they cut Crabtree for him, they’re ****ing stupid.

Nelson needs a QB who can extend plays and throw on the run. Especially at 33 years old. That’s not Derek Carr.

3M is a lot for a guy who will never be needed again. :)

Sure it’s backloaded

Seems rich... but I like having a lefty punter. Those incentives are probably Pro Bowl related or All-Pro. Doubt he gets $9M.

It puts him about #7-10 among punters in average per year.

GTFO.

You have an advantage almost no one else has. Around 3 times a year you get a free fumble (turnover) because someone isn't use to fielding the spin on his kick.

On top of that he's a top 10 punter.

We paid Hali almost $8 million last year to be a spectator...

Oakland gets worse.

Carbtree is they best WR and while they can save 7 mill on the cap but you're going to turn around and give it all to a 32 year old WR because he's Jordy Nelson? Cooper is in his 4th year, so you have this year and then an option.

They have NOTHING after Cooper and Crabtree/Nelson. So please, please cut your best WR and give that money to an injury prone aging WR. They should have been after Watkins or Robinson. Check out their roster and contract status. It makes you appreciate the Chiefs.

I actually like it. It has to be backloaded a bit, and he could easily play out that entire contract.

pugsnotdrugs19 03-15-2018 09:49 AM

See what Jordy Nelson did last year without Aaron Rodgers.

I know it was Hundley, but that didn't stop Adams from producing big time. Nelson doesn't separate like he once did. Needs the QB to extend plays so he can find holes in the defense.
