Back to the mid-card, Owens!

**** you WWE

Sassy Squatch 06-19-2016 08:45 PM

Ambrose is best when he is terrorising someone. Him following Rollins around was ****ing hilarious at times.

Sassy Squatch 06-19-2016 08:47 PM

McMahon must still be pissed about the arm grab.

BryanBusby 06-19-2016 08:49 PM

Titus was a jobber before the grab.

The problem I have with all this is the case should be used to put over a new guy, but they are using it as a crutch to escape from a bad corner they backed themselves into with Romans title run.

Obvious crowd mute is obvious.

TLO 06-19-2016 08:54 PM

Like 5 minutes left...

Sassy Squatch 06-19-2016 08:54 PM

They've seriously got to give up on this Roman being the face of the company bullshit. It makes them look utterly reeruned trying to put this perspective that he gets cheered and the majority of people are happy he's in the position he's in.

mcaj22 06-19-2016 08:56 PM

i cant believe Seth Rollins is going to job to Roman after beating all those people when he was champ

pre-injury Seth was real strong and its all about to end

They've teased it a lot, but there's merch to sell. Same shit they did with Cena forever.

Seth Rollins isn't fully recovered.

No one even cares when Rollins covers.

They all know what's going to happen.

mcaj22 06-19-2016 09:11 PM

Rollins still has a slight limp hes definitely not healthy

he could just be selling it but I don't know he hops on it usually after he makes a high offensive move that involves some burst

Still better than pretty much everyone else on this shit show.

mcaj22 06-19-2016 09:15 PM

yeah Reigns has the easiest job ever; Rollins is just all offense and all Roman does is take the bump and kick out until the very end when he pops up like the Ultimate Warrior and does a super man punch for the win.

New World Order 06-19-2016 09:17 PM

What is this shit

Sassy Squatch 06-19-2016 09:19 PM

JFC don't do 2 fuccboi ref finishes

TLO 06-19-2016 09:19 PM

Reigns has improved exponentially in the ring. It's a shame they're trying to shove him down our throats, just like they did with Cena.

At least Roman didn't win

BryanBusby 06-20-2016 03:11 PM

Yeah but the whole thing was done to protect Roman and he'll have the title again by fall.

IDK. Maybe that 2.03 rating finally has Vince seeing sense. That was the lowest non holiday rating in 18 years.

BryanBusby 06-20-2016 04:16 PM

Roman won't lay on the sword for 2.03.

They've sat the actual Main Event leading up to 9 pm within the last year, and the last hour has been merely a throw away hour.

BigCatDaddy 06-20-2016 05:35 PM

I think this is a great move. The RR stuff was a dud. Ambrose/ Rollins was awesome last year.

TLO 06-20-2016 09:10 PM

So reigns wins the title at back at Battleground, and goes on to defend it against Lesnar at Summer Slam. That's what I'm getting out of all this

BryanBusby 06-21-2016 12:40 AM

I don't know if they will put Lesnar in the title picture at SS when he may not be healthy for it.

otherstar 06-21-2016 01:23 PM

Ha ha. Vince got tired of the fans crapping on him?

Sassy Squatch 06-21-2016 02:39 PM

On the bright side for Vince, Roman Reigns just granted more wishes than John Cena has his entire career.

BryanBusby 06-21-2016 04:11 PM

Haha no wonder Rollins pinned him and they rushed the title onto Ambrose.

Romans run is probably done for awhile.

big nasty kcnut 07-06-2016 08:10 AM

worst possible outcomes for both companies.

BryanBusby 07-15-2016 06:07 PM

I don't think Vince really gives a **** as there's no way he'll miss Summerslam.

At worst, they will suspend him after SS and it'll save them some contracted dates for WM season. This would of been crushing if it happened back in January.

mcaj22 07-15-2016 06:15 PM

well it puts WWE in a tough spot because ya know they just suspended their golden boy Roman Reigns for "violating WWE's wellness policy" whatever the heck that is if Brock was still allowed to do whatever he wanted.

BryanBusby 07-15-2016 06:19 PM

The only problem they could run into would be the New York sports authority may not let him wrestle and yeah that would **** SS.

They might have to give Undertaker a briefcase full of money to come back and take his place.

'Hamas' Jenkins 07-16-2016 07:54 AM

Why do you think they suspended Reigns in the first place? There is no way that Cena or HHH haven't gassed up the majority/entirety of their career. It had to be some other ****up that allowed them to use the failed test as leverage against him via a suspension.

mcaj22 07-16-2016 08:28 AM

from WOR/reddit...

Quote:

  • This is really bad for WWE, as he is the cover of WWE2K16 and he's wrestling at SS
  • The questions arises of how he never failed a WWE test in the 4 years he's been there
  • More serious than Roman Reigns suspension because of the publicity of it
  • Alvarez points out that Lesnar passed 5 of 6 tests in a 3 week span, and failed the 6th, so that's weird. Meltzer however mentions that this has happened before.
  • Once Nevada starts a hearing, and if he's suspended by the commission, he will be suspended from any commission in any state that regulates prowrestling too, which means that he wouldn't even be able to fight in SummerSlam (NY)
  • This is bad for UFC, because they've had 3 pops too close to a fight (Jones, Silva, Lesnar, although Lesnar and Silva actually fought)
  • There's precedent on suspending/firing people for failing outside drug tests (Billy Gunn)

I think WWE takes the biggest hit here, Brock is like 1 of 2 attractions for them, UFC can go on business as usual because of their cult fanbase, UFC 202 will be even more hype because their fans believe that should have been 200 anyway, so even more might buy in. Whereas Summer Slam takes a massive hit here

I hope Foley does somersaults off the hell in a cell.

Brock Lesnar's team is blaming the failed test on an asthma inhaler and are saying he tested positive for a chemical found in the inhaler. WADA bans asthma inhalers unless the athlete has a medical need for it. Brock is prescribed by a doctor to use inhalers during the spring and summer months.

It is still his responsibility to apply for a TUE to be approved to use it, but if he popped for something that he could have gotten permission to use, then I guess its not a big deal. Should be easy for USADA to verify.

Supposedly he tested positive for clomiphene, which he'd use when coming down off a steroid cycle.

Clomid is not found in an inhaler and is not similar to what's in an inhaler though

If it's inhaler related then i suspect clen, which is closely related to albuterol.

But yeah, that guy can afford so much better that I have no idea why he'd mess with clen.
