What do James Shields, Clayton Kershaw, CC Sabathia, Justin Verlander, David Price and Stephen Strasburg have in common? They're all on an SI cover this week. (Apologies if repost. And I don't think the curse applies to regional covers, does it? Either way, it's nice to get some attention. And it's not like we haven't been cursed for about 27 years or so.)

Don't worry, the curse does not apply, because its a regional cover. If it was a national cover, we'd be screwed. Yeah, there's only 6 regional covers so we might get a lot of coverage, but if it ain't national, it doesn't count.

Our PTBNL for the Hottovy trade has been revealed. We got Desmond Henry from the Rangers. Was a 4th round pick in 2011, high school outfielder, he'll be 19 years old.

Apparently his tools are speed (6.47 in the 60-yard dash, so his speed is a 7 or 8 on the 2 to 8 scale) and defense, but he needs to learn how to hit. He probably wont, but hey, we got a scratch-off lottery ticket for an excess 31-year old reliever who toiled for 7+ years in the minors.

And Dayton Moore's obsession with the LFBG (lightning-fast black guy) continues...
