SF’s outrageous spending on skill players and their front seven was always eventually going to catch up to them regardless of who the QB is.
By now it has. Their secondary and offensive line besides Williams leave quite a bit to be desired. |

That's it. Fill in the rest. |

But let's not front like your heart, and those of everyone else watching it live, didn't stop when that ball was in the air and Sanders, with two Chiefs defenders trailing a step or two behind, looked like he might run under it for one of the biggest plays in Super Bowl history. |
Lets use the same game plan against the 49er's as we did vs. Ravens. It worked. Keep Purdy contained in the pocket and stop McCaffery from going off!
Debo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk concern me. They are very good. Their defense is also a concern. In order to win this game, Reid and Spaggs need to be on point with their game plan. Will we win the SB? Of course we will! Back to back baby! :thumb: |

Gotcha. Well, we'll see if our crappy WRs can do something with that. I actually think they will, in large part because Wilks won't be able to take any advantage of the one glaring weakness of our offense. Travis and Rice should have big days. |
Where’s the 49er fan trolls?? We need some new meat..

A few things to note
1. Pat has put 30 plus on SF In all three games he's played them 2. Spags has seen this offense twice and kept them to low 20s 3. We have played in Vegas four times including this year, SF has only played their once and the defense got lit up by Jarrett Stidham 4. KC are 4-0 in Vegas and Pat has put up 30 plus every game 5. In three of the last five games SF have let up 29 or more points. Two of them were against Murray and Goff 6. They have been terrible against the run (zona got 234 yards, Packers got 136 yards and the Lions got 182 over the last five games) 7. The best defenses they faced (Ravens and Browns) kept them below 20 points 8. The best QB's they faced (Burrow and Lamar) put up 30 plus points. 9. In their last four games at halftime they've been behind twice and the other two they lead by one and two points. So they've not separated in the first half lately. 10. They've given up a lot of penalties this year. |
lol
look at those rushing totals pacheco might steal an MVP from Patrick |
I have no doubt he'll play. But one thing to keep an eye on is Kittle's injury status. He's "day to day" with a toe injury. If that's turf toe then it could be significant moving forward because playing with that could be an issue for sure.

just checked out their message board....they seem far less confident than we do. but consensus is they need to run CMC big time.
|
everybody sees we are 28th against the run or whatever and think you can just run, run, run and everything will be ok.
