Damien Williams had 498 yards rushing and Darrell Williams had 141 yards rushing throughout the season and we don’t need a HB? Blasphemy.

Not only do we need a starting HB, I’d say it’s our biggest need.

What if Jonathan Taylor is available at 32, would you take him?

Did you know that the Chiefs won a SB last year?

CB is a much bigger need than RB.

While RB is definitly a need it is way overrated by some of you.

I would actually be OK going into the season with the current group even though I know it is a bottom 5 or 10 group in the league.

Saying we just won a Super Bowl is irrelevant to your argument, because that vague statement applies to ALL positions.

Again, 639 rushing yards for your number 1 and 2 HBs combined is attrocious and unacceptable for a rushing attack in the NFL. That’s 41 yards per game from your 1st stringer and 2nd stringer COMBINED. That’s not good enough and needs to be addressed. Where they address that in the draft or UDFA is up to them, but let’s not pretend like the HB position couldn’t be upgraded tremendously.

Laser focusing on specific positions is how you blow your draft. They have enough flexibility and need after 2020 to truly just add the best guys they can.

Draft smarter, not just for need.

Exactly.

Chiefs were bottom 10 in rushing yards...so a nabbing legit RB inst out of the question.

They were #16 with a half year of Hunt in 2018 and top 10 in 2017.

No offense, but that's very simplistic thinking, and I'm glad it's a draft philosophy the Chiefs don't adopt.

As has been side multiple times, going into a draft with a shopping list of generic "positions we need to address" is how you produce Carl Peterson-type drafts.

Always good when people that don't understand the draft pop in.

Jake Fromm and Jacob Eason trade bait hasn't been talked about as an option. IMO if KC trades down it will be because of those two.

Maybe some team could fall for Eason. But Fromm? He throws like a girl.

He won a lot of games in the SEC, even with his blah workout I think he probably has an Alex Smith like NFL career.
