I was told on Chiefs Planet that Mahomes will not be throwing to first stringers during training camp.

I'm feeling a Jah Reid cut on the horizon

Witzmann just made the roster, then. Could this spell the end for Jah Reid?

The thing is, I don't think Jah Reid saves us much cap in 2017. He does in 2018, however.

$2.8 million.

I stated just yesterday that Reid should be cut and replaced by a guy like Witzmann.

Hopefully Veach makes a habit of extending guys early, ala Peters/Morse/Jones etc.

According to OTC, Reid saves about $2.1M this year. We can roll that over to next year though, so it still helps long term.
