The Big 12

I like this game.

And yet, all you have is a peach and some cotton to show for it.

Too bad.

Petro said yesterday he would bet the SEC comes after KU once the BIG or ACC go to 16.

Maybe KU should finally tell the B1G SEC that they're interested.

ROFL

Yes, the SEC is coming for Kansas in a football driven conference.

Oh, thanks, I needed that . . . . . . LMAO

Let me know when Petro's opinion means something.

Call Petro, I didn't say it...he did.

The SEC isn't inviting anymore football schools. Alabama, LSU, Auburn, etc don't want to win a league title every 5-6 years like they would if they invited OK and UT.

This is why MU and TAMU were the perfect additions. Good state populations with no threat to win in football.

Is that why Kansas wanted to stay in the Big 12 so bad?

No real competition for basketball in the regular season, so they can rack up the League titles to help promote their 'blue-blood' persona, before the usual nose dive in the NCAA's, as compared to the "true" Blue Bloods??

They "wanted" to stay because it's the midwest conference and had a nice balance of athletics and $$$ coming in.

They've split a couple of those titles. It hasn't been 10 outright. But you're probably somewhat correct in that when you're winning a lot moving to another league might not be on the top of your list.

Put on his podcast from yesterday. Like I said, I'm not the one saying these things.

That's the biggest difference between our fanbases.

You will never be great if you are encouraging your rivals/opponents to win.

The more Alabama wins, the harder it is for you. This is why KU Basketball does everything they can to keep their rivals down. Kentucky is the final entity that KU still needs to conquer.

I thought we just documented the post where you were rooting for the Big 12 to have multiple teams in the playoff.

Much of that good will from KU fans was destroyed by MU fans over the playoff teams chosen by the committee as an outlet to continuously try and rip the Big 12.

Exposing MU's football team for only having beaten one team with a winning conf record in 3 years was going to go by quietly until the first stone was cast over the past couple days.

So, you stick up for the big 12, but you don't root for other teams in the league (and, yet, you do).

That was obviously a satirical post being that it would require missouri beating Alabama.
