I figured that to be the answer ROFL

I've always been curious as a KC fan. We never win shit...

so say we lucked into a Super Bowl next year (lol, I know right)...

how fun would that be? Does Denver still enjoy their run in the late 90s? Does it help ease the pain of 2 win seasons?

I feel like I'd enjoy the hell out of that ride but I'd rather build a team like NE who is in it every ****ing year and lose the final game 9 times out of 10 then win 1 Super Bowl and go back to being mediocre.

it has to be a blast to be a NE fan

even though I hate all of those ****ers especially the ones who post on CP

I still enjoy the 2002 Superbowl year.

Well, since there's 30 MLB teams, every team is "due" for a win every 30 years. It obviously doesn't work out that way, but if we win once every 25 or so years, thats probably good.

I've got "pretty decent every other year but never win the big game" already with the chiefs. I'll take "suck for a couple decades, then win it all", especially since I've already watched the team through the first part of that plan.

They were wrong to do that.

WS ring would be worth at least a five-year high.

Detroit's 4 game series with Houston is finally over. Time to retake 1st place.

I understand these guys being pumped after a win, but if someone gets hurt while celebrating a win....that will be uber-lame.

Why? A discussion board where people only evaluate things via post-mortems would be pretty lame.

If I'm lucky to see one World Series win in my lifetime I'd be ok with that...

Kendrys Morales' severely broken leg (And resulting limp) agree with you.

Drove up from Dallas yesterday. Staying at a buddies house in Overland Park. Really stoked to be going to the game today. **** I've missed being up here. I could see myself moving back.

I'll probably buy tix for one of the Royals @ Rangers games. My daughter really wants to see Darvish, but I'd rather see the Royals win :) .

not Royals related but baseball. Prince Fielder argues a strike out call TWICE in the same game, and gets nothing more than the stink eye from the home plate ump. Yet, in a different game, Bryce Harper strikes out on a check swing called strike three, argues the call and then gets tossed by the third base ump.

weird stuff

The highlighted point is spot on. SF has won two of the past three WSs precisely because of that. Their offense is good, but nowhere nar dominating. Their SPs from #1-#5 are the best in baseball. This why they dominated two offensive powerhouses in Texas and Detroit.
