We'd won the prior five matchups vs top 5 teams. Do you *ever* win any? At any rate things are good. We're top10 again and just last week, we took ass-lingus from superstars Izzo & Donovan.

Is that the sound of moving goalposts I hear? Congrats on beating a 3-4 Florida team at home, btw.

Baylor's 2015 out of conference opponents

Rice
SMU
Tyrone

Your two-time defending Big 12 champions, ladies and gentlemen...

Titty Meat 12-09-2014 10:46 AM

Tyrone?

Might check the Missouri Football thread, champ.

Baylor has intentionally scheduled their OOC that way so they have a better chance of being undefeated. Both the AD and Briles said before the season that they know they have to go undefeated to get in with their OOC scheduling. I can't say it enough but **** baylor.

TCU, OTOH, has consistently attempted to improve OOC. We have the soon-to-be-curb-stomped-in-the-playoff Ohio state with a home and home in 2018 (provided they don't back out). We had a home and home scheduled with LSU which LSU wanted to convert to a one-off at Jerry World last year.

I have more respect for TCU than for Baylor.

If your strategy is to go undefeated by playing the worst possible schedule, don't bitch about getting left out when you don't go undefeated.

I agree but it's still fun to poke fun at him.

I agree with that. I think that Baylor is the better team by virtue of their head-to-head victory, but SOS should not be a small factor.

Saul Good 12-09-2014 11:10 AM

Imagine this scenario...

If Kansas State had won their game against TCU, Bowlsby would have, upon completion of Baylor's win over KSU, handed conference championship trophies to both Baylor and K-State.

That would have been awesome.

Prison Bitch 12-09-2014 11:13 AM

Almost as awesome as LSU players watching Bammy take the stage in front of them as "national" champions a few years ago. What a complete farce that charade was.

We have our own thread to discuss those things.

Just wait until Bama gets ahold of Ohio State.

How was that a farce? Alabama won the National Championship game.
