I'm liking the idea of a trade this am more and more...
1) The Draft: I've been high on D London, J Williams and D Wyatt, but it's likely all three will be gone by our pick, Williams is injured, and even if Wyatt was there he only had 5 sacks in 4 years so maybe we're getting a little overhyped on him. #30 seems like a tricky spot for a pass-rushing DE also, Ojabo is injured and Karlaftis is more of a run stopper, there are opportunities for Pass Rushers later in the draft. Starting to feel like we might go DB, but CB really hasn't been are thing early in the draft and we just picked up Reid. 2) We're in win-now mode and could us a dynamic player. Tyler Locket, DK Metcalf, Chris McCaffrey, Saquon Barkley, Kamara, a young impactful EDGE!? I'm curious what's available out there, and if we can get a later pick back in the deal then even better. |
We're still suffering from the Frank Clark trade. I can't imagine anyone would want us to keep doing that.
Unless you're getting a 25-year old ascending player like we did with OBJ (which rarely EVER happens, BTW) it's really not worth it. |

If not, maybe overpowering the offense IS the thing. |

Say, Wyatt and all the top-flight WR's are gone, I think I'd be good with Mafe at #30.
But it would be a lot more exciting to have DK Metcalf, T Locket, or C McCaffrey etc. |
Well Fournette just got paid by the Bucs

**** the Bucs and **** Brady.

The wheels gotta come of Brady at sone point or he should be investigated for drugs. His ass has got to be on something. No player in any other sport would even be remotely considered clean at his age.

J Clowney still sitting out there with one of the Top Pass Rush Win Rates in the NFL and we have next to zero interest?
If I knew how to upload a jpeg I'd share the chart, Frank Clark with less than 5% Win Rate at the very bottom and Clowney just above 25% Win Rate alongside Aaron Donald, Myles Garret, and Robert Quinn with Micah Parson having the highest Win Rate at around 28%. |
