My Gran passed away Wednesday night after a 2 week period where she was in and out of the hospital due to a brain bleed. Needless to say, I've been pretty depressed this past week or so as her condition rapidly declined. Didn't really care to watch anything Chiefs related. Even as the Super Bowl started I was still in this funk. That all changed in the 3rd quarter. I got ****ing pissed and my fandom came roaring back to life. Wanted to win this game like I've never wanted a Chiefs win before, and Reid, Mahomes, and the guys ****ing did it. God how ****ing lucky are we to have these guys representing our Chiefs.

Kyle Shanahan lost 46-0 in 4th quarter of Super Bowls against Brady/Mahomes. I know this forum hates Brady, but that is hilarious. Pretty appropriate given Kyle's connections to a Chiefs division rival.

I wasn't online last night because I was partying hard with friends and enjoying the game away from the computer tether, but just wanted to say Go Chiefs!!!! It's been a long mother-f'n road and we deserve to enjoy this as much as anyone! Super Bowl 54 Champions! Never thought I'd utter those words.
