Trade 30 and to Seattle for DK AND picks 109 and 145.

It’s like the modern/offense version of Buddy Ryans 4-6. You completely overload the passing game with no way for the opposing defense to have enough talent to cover it all.

The cap space comes from the Orlando and Tyreek extensions.

Mahomes
Hill
DK
Juju
Hardman
Kelce

I’m honestly not sure how any defense in history could defend that.

That would give us a bunch of picks to make the defense pretty damn special in its own right, too…outside of maybe picking a speed back in the mid rounds…maybe Dalvin Cooks brother.

Hold it in just a little longer….

Ok, exhale

Do what the Bengals did and drop 8 and let Patrick sit back there while you can double cover almost every receiver bc Andy won’t run the ball

That might be semi effective when you’re trotting out Demarcus Robinson and Byron Pringle out there for big snap counts.

Yea, because that was the problem, not Mahomes playing like absolute dog shit.

No one wants to pay for veteran free agent RB’s… shocking.

Running backs rarely get paid a lot of money in free agency. The best ones usually stay with the teams with which they became stars, since the money is rarely if ever better for them on the open market.

This year, plenty of running backs with name recognition are finding the going slow in free agency.

Former Chargers and Broncos running back Melvin Gordon, for example, has received very limited interest. And that’s possibly an overstatement. Likewise, former Jaguars and Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette, who was hoping to get (we’re told) $12 million per year, continues to wait.

Mahomes playing poorly like that really is terrifying bc he was the breaking through for us.

Never ever thought we would go full “because Chiefs” with Patrick

No more big trades. The bills are due, time to pay them once and move on.

BAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Yeah - good luck with that, Lenny.

He'll be fortunate to get $8 million per and even that is likely an overpay. I'd rather have Edmonds and he got $6 million.

Someone has been lying to Fournette. You aren’t worth $12 million a season, bro.

Conventional wisdom would say that’s correct.

Trading for DK wouldn’t necessarily hurt the cap till 2024, though. He plays on the last year of his rookie deal this year and gets an extension next offseason with a low first year cap hit. A rookie would have 4-5 years of cost control, but also risk in not providing relative return. DK is a sure thing and would be very low cost to the cap the next 2 seasons.

At that point, Kelce is winding down and Andy may be, as well.

When we extended Damien Williams a few years ago, he got 2 year $8 million. Fournette would probably be considered slightly better. I'd pay $6 million on his best day. Team friendly is $4 million a year. Dude is out of his mind. Several good RB's will be out there in day two and three of the draft.

I really do Believe he was told to play like that because there isn't a logical answer after his performance against the Bills

There's not a chance at all that the Seahawks trade Metcalf.

I really wish that bullshit idea would end.

Yeah I really enjoy how some dipshit managed to speak a rumor into existence.

BossChief 03-21-2022 11:26 PM

I’m mainly just thinking out loud. DK is just the name I chose because they don’t have a QB and by the time they do, DK will need a mega contract. I’d personally prefer to draft a WR, but it’s fun to think what Veach and Reid could do with this offense if they really wanted to push the chips in while they still have Andy and Kelce at the top of their games.
