No way. Neither is close to ready for major league pitching.

Rushing hitters to the majors is the surest way to mess them up.

Neither is close to advanced enough to hit in the major leagues. But would be much worse hitters on Day 1 than Frenchy.

@JeffPassan
Why are teams legit scared of 15-10 KC? Danny Duffy, almost a year removed from Tommy John, is sitting 94-97. Could join rotation late June.

Will be representing next monday in Anaheim. Been trying to figure out who will be on the bump for us then, but with all these rainouts, it's been tough.

Thinking it will be Santana or Guthrie.

Cant wait though.

Read all that to learn Frenchy is useless. Thank you Captain Obvious.

I think the easy, quick & cheap fix would to acquire David DeJesus & platoon him with Frenchy. Bat DeJesus vs righties & Frenchy vs lefties...I'm sure someone here can give you the splits of both but that would work. I'd love to see them acquire Giancarlo Stanton, but I'm a dreamer!

Man how a year can change things. A year-ish ago GMDM was the biggest buffoon out there.

Sanchez was awful
Kept Frenchy and he was awful while Melky was raking
Lo Cain and Salvy hurt
Duffy, the first starting pitcher to make it to the majors that he drafted blew his arm out.
Hosmer wasn't hitting. Kind of still a problem

Pretty much everything he's done since then has been golden

edit: He still really needs Hosmer or Moose to pick it up though. You can't have to trade for starting pitching because all of yours got hurt, became pen arms or flamed out and then miss on most of your hitting prospects. Really Salvy is the only guy who he drafted and developed who is a starter for us either at the plate or as a starting pitcher.

I know he was out of Venezuela but we picked him, developed him and he starts. We also, I'm assuming at gunpoint, got him to sign a 5 year 7 million dollar contract. I normally like it when my teams get a good deal but that's so pathetically low I almost want them to renegotiate and at least double it for him lol

Also **** the Tigers, once again, for facing a high school team.

Nobody that knew anything about our minor league talent thought that Moore was a buffoon.

Edit: Also, Hosmer has been blistering the ball. Bad luck, right now.

In due time we as well will get to face the vaunted Astros. Hopefully we don't fail to take advantage of that free gift.

Hosmer had three soft hits yesterday...it all balances out.

On another note, Gordon and Cain look like All Stars. So does Escobar, for that matter.
