I’m becoming spoiled with these trades. I want more.
|
Mathieu maybe?

Watkins' career catch % is 55%. That's not a good number for someone as physically gifted as Watkins. Watkins' yards/game have declined from 80.5 yards/game in 2015 to 53.8 yards/game in 2016 to 39.5 yards/game in 2017. I don't see a lot of evidence that Watkins will turn his career around in KC when he couldn't turn his career around with the Rams. Of the 4 2014 WRs, I'd say Richardson would be the best bargain for the Chiefs offense.

are the Browns better than us? Some Eagle fan on FB who lives in KC posted that. LOL

This’ll be a fun night to be drinking

No way are browns better than us people are panicking for no reason

I see it as a great buy low opportunity. Obviously he wouldn't come for cheap but possibly for a reasonable deal and I think it could pay off big time as he has great potential but obviously injury risk as well. If he remains pedestrian and puts up around 500 yards a year, which would really surprise me, it isn't as if we would be counting on him to be our no. 1 receiving option, as we have Kelce and Hill. I think he would be a great get really but we are facing competition for his services for sure. |
I still think they trade for Odell
Get ready |

Obj
Hill Kelce Hunt Ware Conley Amendola If pat can’t develop with that, well |
I wonder if there’s any defensive players out there that Veach would want to flip one of our 4th rounders for. I’d rather do that than spend in FA on most of the meh that is going to be available.

Probably not
Well see |
Would love OBJ here

That guy would be a big move to help stop the run. |
Yeah I like Carl Davis he’s a good solid player
|
Did we trade for OBJ yet?

I'm sure it's been said already, but I hope nobody gets their panties in a wad. We're not signing anyone of significance. People are probably going to be flipping out in less than a week when we're staying on the sidelines.

Veach said he’s going to acquire a couple impact free agents.
He also said he was going to be aggressive. Watch him work. |

My top target wish list. We dont have $ for all this, but if we are targeting a position group for FA, these are my top targets.
ILB Zach Brown NT Star Lotulelei WR Allen Robinson EDGE Elvis Dumerville would make a nice 3rd rush backer on a cheap 1 yr deal |
Quote:
|
I like Zach Brown but he probably wants too much money, I think there are some pretty good ILB options which could cost less though.
Meh on Star, I'd take Robinson for a non-bank busting deal. I think those are the 4 positions that get added via FA though, maybe CB too? |
Would really like Veach to call about Carl Davis and Joe Dahl.
Dahl would be an ideal fit for LG. |

**** I brought him up recently
|
Collins and darby with Wilkerson on a one year deal would do wonders
|
A 3rd for darby?
I would be all over that and offer the rams 2nd and a couple later picks for Collins but it probably wouldn't be enough |
Darby? The corner?
And Collins the ILB? |
Quote:
Landon Collins the safety. They were both on the list you just postedROFL With a motivated Wilkerson we might do things |
Shit some speculation darby might not even fetch a 3rd...
|
Just to give folks an idea of what corners will go for I see EJ Gaines is expected to go to Tampa for 8-9 mik
|
No clue why the Eagles would deal Darby. He comes in a shade over $1 million and is a young, ascending player. If the Eagles want cap relief, the guy they should move is Jason Kelce. They would create $6 million in cap space and only accrue just over $1 million in dead money.
Jamie Collins? I’m not taking on $12.5 million in salary plus giving up assets to get him - **** that. |
Quote:
Dunno that they can do Landon with his contract but I’d be interested |
My bad folks. I though SAUTO referenced Jamie Collins, not Landon...

Protect your young QB |
Money is obviously not an issue in free agency. It's just the players and/or direction Veach wants this defense (and offense) to go. Right now Over the Cap is showing us at 14 million with Ron Parker still on the roster. 19 million once they take him off of the books. There is an additional 40 million of cuts that can be made. Will they cut that much more? Doubtful. But bottom line is there is another 40 million setting there to be cut... depending on what Veach's vision for this team is going forward.

And not the lb |

How they getting to 40 mil?
Bailey would be one other than that, not sure |
Chiefs needs a tall physical corner with ball skills that can win contested passes. If only someone like that was available?
Spoiler!
