Stats point to him being a very good defender. Self will play him every minute if that is the case (he was 8th in minutes per game in the country last year as it is).

28% from 3 for his career against what I assume is poor competition.

I can’t get too excited about it.

After stockpiling the roster with shooters last year, I'm okay with a guy who can defend, and dribble and get to the basket.

If he can get to the basket then he is AWFUL at drawing fouls. Over 37 mpg and 2.1 FTA per game.

He better be Marcus Garrett to Kevin McCullar defender.
