I've changed my mind and wouldn't be opposed to seeing us pick up a RB at some point.

I’d have been underwhelmed by either but I guess I prefer Miami’s

Like you said….Veach just needs to let that draft board come to him.

And use that newly gained cap space to get guys like Barnett and Kyzir in here to build up that defense.

Diggs helped elevate Josh Allen and the Bills offense to elite status, while the Vikings are stuck in mediocrity. Similar to Houston losing the DeAndre Hopkins trade... you don't trade elite WR's when they are still in the prime of their careers.

Also the last time a rookie WR in Philly or KC has immediately stepped in, started almost every game and became a Jefferson-like star in Andy Reid's offense? That would be never.

Wow, just finished my taxes and see THIS?!?

I understand the move though, these are the types of moves you have to make when you're paying a true franchise QB. Hate to see Tyreek go, but it's likely for the best and I'm excited to see what possible moves we make in the remainder of FA and in the draft.

That doesn't happen much, period - especially from where we're picking.

Later Tyreek, good luck catching junk balls.

I'm a Chiefs fan for the past 52 years, not a Hill fan. Over the years they all come and go, next man up.

LMAO that makes Veach look even worse. Absolutely no need to accept the offers and rush a deal today and let Hill choose which shit sandwich you're served. Let them get desperate and up their offer between now and the draft. If they back off, oh noes, you get one more year of Hill and open the trade talks after the Bowl next year when you have the maximum number of potential trade partners possible.

What if Hill threatened to sit out?

old_geezer 03-23-2022 11:37 AM

One thought I had: Supposedly Andy's offensive scheme requires more than a year to learn and right now Hardman is the only holdover from last year. How is that going to affect our passing game?

But will Andy Reid use it, or does that just become a waste?

R8RFAN 03-23-2022 11:37 AM

I am still not gonna count you guys out as long as PM is the QB

Let's hope we get a #1 WR now..not easy.

Super disappointed in this trade but if we wind up with three legit WRs and save cap that's not as bad as it sounds. Its better than having tyreek take up all the attention. I think Hardman can step up now that he's the primary speed guy. Juju is an obvious upgrade and if we bring in a legit WR like Lockett or Landry we are actually in a good spot. I wouldn't call that a rebuild. Mahomes still has plenty of weapons and plenty of opportunity to land a good wr to round us out.
