I'm not altogether for the hire, but I don't hate it. What I've always assumed is that he brought in too many new players, poisoning the well so to speak. It's hard to changed a veteran free agents frame of mind to match that of the culture you've instilled in your franchise. He simply may have brought in too many free agents too quickly, and it was a cancer that caused him to lose the locker room.

Says a lot to me that Vick, while defending Reid after his firing, blamed the guys in the locker room for Andy losing his job...

They could hire a real walrus as long as he fires Pioli, AFAIC.

KCTV is just "reporting" what's already been "reported" here -- tweets. Doesn't up the certainty at all.

They were all Super Bowl winning Packers before they were ever Browns.

Another thing to watch for if Reid to #Chiefs happens is star-studded staff chock full of recognizable names. Band is getting back together.

Glad to see @AdamSchefter is catching up to my reports 16 hours ago about Andy Reid and KC meeting and closing in on a deal.

My initial reaction to Andy Reid getting fired from Philly was the man needs to step back at least one year and rejuvenate. I kind of thought with the issues involving his son and the seasons he's coached he might just be a little burned out. But what do I know what drives another man. Hopefully he will be ok.

Something that struck me as a little more troubling was this

C'mon guys, Andy Reid is like 350lbs. Obviously the man likes his food. Why the hell wouldn't he want to come to the barbeque capital of the world?

Ian is a bad reporter and he is just butt hurt about KC because he said we were the worst job available. I don't understand the NFLN guys at times, it seems like they use agendas instead of reporting.
