Well, you could always go look at the playoff committee members and see the B1G affiliations and see why.

I don't think there is any conspiracy at work. There are clear reasons to choose OSU over Baylor.

If Baylor had a conference championship game victory on their resume, they would have an additional quality win and probably would have gotten over the top.

Conspiracy? No.

Obvious bias? Completely. Big 12 had one representative. B1G had Alvarez, Osborne, and Willingham (played and initially coached at Sparty).

Who does the selection committee agree with? That's the only thing that matters.

Probably your first good rebuttal on this thread.

I understand that you are upset about being left out. And I would be to if I were in your situation, but I think you are getting a little carried away if you think these games won't be remotely competitive. Ohio St. has one of the best D lines in America and if they play up to their ability they will be able to make life difficult for Yeldon and Henry. Cooper scares the hell out of me however. On offense, we are on our 3rd string QB, which will make life difficult for us. I don't see us being able to run too much on Alabama. If Mauk can scramble and chuck it down the field, I don't see why our guys can't. We have recruited as well as anyone not named Bama since Urban has been here. Concerning FSU, if you have solid D line play you stand a chance against Oregon. Every year they are unstoppable until they play a team with a pulse on D and with a physical run game on O and they get exposed. Time will tell.

These made me laugh, and when I saw the kU one, I actually laughed out loud.

Nobody is reading all that, because its a long way of saying "Vegas thinks we don't belong but I do, because I'm an Ohio State fan". Much shorter, much more to the point

Not even close, but Sagarin thinks you nailed it.

The first round will not be remotely competitive. You won't be able to stop Bama's offense. Bama will shut your offense down. You are going to get stomped.

Florida State has struggled against shit ACC teams. Oregon will be up by multiple touchdowns in the 1st half and I ****ing hate that because I hate the ducks.

Actually he is pretty close for once.

His post wasn't about belonging in the game compared to TCU. It was about how Ohio State matches up with Alabama.

I heard the same thing in 2002. I guess we will have to wait and see. Oh and Vegas had Wisconsin as 4.5 point favorite, so........

Exactly and TCU really doesn't have an arguement. If anyone should be upset, it should be Baylor.

That's the funny thing about Bitch referencing Vegas. Vegas doesn't make predictions about the games. They make predictions about how idiots will bet...and then Vegas takes their money.

The Big 12 plays 9 conference games. End of story. It's the way college football is supposed to be played.

Conference Championship games are sideshows invented in the 90's.
